ABOUT THE CHEF AND OWNER
Cooking has always been a passion for Tamika. The daughter of a chef and culinary arts instructor, she felt it has always been in her genes. A 2009 graduate of The Connecticut Culinary Institute, Tamika holds a degree in Advanced Culinary Arts. Beginning with a pantry/baking position in fine dining, she was thrilled to learn the remarkable world of the restaurant industry. Shortly thereafter, Tamika began her career as a Sauté chef at another successful fine dining establishment, furthering her knowledge and fueling her fiery passion. The start of her family eventually brought her in another culinary direction, but she always desired to start her own business.
In January 2017, Tamika became the proud owner of Bunker Hill Deli, a long established and reputable delicatessen. She brings her love of food, passion, experience and innovative ideas to her customers daily. Knowing people enjoy a fresh, homemade meal has always brought Tamika joy, whether at the deli or around her own table! So, stop in soon, introduce yourself and enjoy a delicious meal in an inviting atmosphere!
